    Prof Wenping Qin was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China, in 1972. She received her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Taiyuan University of Technology(TYUT), Taiyuan, China, in1995, 2001 and 2015, respectively. She is presently working as a professor in the college of electrical and power engineering, TYUT. Her current research interests include integrated energy system resilience/reliability assessment, stability and security analysis, power system protection and microgrid energy management technology. Prof. Qin is a Member of IEEE PES. She was a recipient of the Science and Technology Awards of Shanxi Province, in 2006 and 2016, respectively.
