On the morning of August 31st, on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the founding of our university, the signing ceremony of alumni donations was grandly held in the conference room on the first floor of the conference center of Yingxi campus. Lv Jinyu, chairman of Yuangong Energy Technology Group, Wang Kai, chairman of Shanxi Wanli Technology Co., Ltd., and Wang Jianqin, administrative director, attended the meeting as donation representatives. Wu Douqing, member of the university committee of the CPC and vice president, and Du Kun, director of the alumni office, attended the meeting. The leadership team of our college and representatives of teachers and students participated. The ceremony was presided over by Xu Xin, secretary of the college committee of the CPC.
In her speech, Dean Han Xiaoqing expressed her heartfelt thanks to Yuangong Energy Technology Group and Shanxi Wanli Technology Co., Ltd. for their donations, and introduced the current development of the college and its relationship with the donated alumni. With the support, we will educate more outstanding alumni and jointly write a new chapter for Taiyuan University of Technology.
Amidst the youthful and passionate school song, a grand signing ceremony of the donation agreement has been held. Yuangong Energy Technology Group donated 5 million yuan to the construction project of the Smart Energy Research Institute of Taiyuan University of Technology, 1.2 million yuan to the education development fund of our college, and Shanxi Wanli Technology Co., Ltd. donated 1.2 million yuan to the education development fund of our college. Vice President Wu Douqing, Chairman Lv Jinyu, and Chairman Wang Kai exchanged donation certificates and donation plates respectively.
Chairman Lv Jinyu said that the College of Electrical and Power Engineering has a good scientific research environment and talent conditions, which will promote the close integration of the school's talent training direction with social needs, improve the quality of talent training, and promote the construction of corporate culture. Chairman Wang Kai introduced that Shanxi Wanli Technology Co., Ltd. actively carries out scientific research and technological innovation, insists on industry-university-research cooperation and hopes to establish closer contact with the school and carry out more in-depth cooperation in the future.
